There is no doubt that you’ve encountered a well-dressed pet in your lifetime, but have you ever wondered how to style your fur babies? As we grow older and learn more about our fashion preferences, it can be fun to incorporate some of these fashion trends into our pets' wardrobes. With the holiday season approaching fast, we have created a guide on how to bundle up your animals for the cold, while making them look fashionable at the same time.
Sweaters are a must-have for pets as the temperatures start to drop. Browns, oranges, and other various fall hues add a nice blend of color to the fur. You could also think closer to Christmas time and dress them in red or green flannel sweaters. Another fun way to dress your pets for the holiday season is to throw in some fun costumes. Halloween costumes also make an adorable photo-op for animals. Discounted prices after Halloween will save you a ton of money. Anything from other animal costumes, to plants, to movie or book characters would be perfect for your fur baby. You may also consider matching your fall and winter outfits to your pets’ outfits; think miniature, flannels, sweaters, or turtle necks. These options are perfect for the holiday season and make for the cutest pictures that you can send out as holiday cards.
However you decide to style your pet this holiday season, the most essential part is to take lots of pictures. Try planning photoshoots of your pet when the leaves are still changing to compliment their look with an equally stunning backdrop. Pumpkins and leaves are perfect props that will make your fur baby’s outfit pop... You may also plan a studio photoshoot to get more professional shots of your pet in their outfits. This ensures a more formal scene that is totally customizable. Last but not least, when planning these outfits and pictures, always make sure your animals are comfortable and having fun!
