Spring is the season when the natural world revives. The sun is shining, birds are chirping, and it’s time to switch out your winter wool sweaters for a fresh new look. Adding soft lilac, bright yellow, robin’s egg blue, pistachio green, and other colorful pastels will revamp your wardrobe while putting a spring in your step.

Inspired by fluffy yellow chicks and budding flowers, pastels can be styled in many ways. They can be earthy, girly, edgy, and even bold. Try seeking out vibrant floral and leafy prints to add to your outfit. These can create a sweet and dainty effect or elevate a neutral look with eye-catching accents.

Pastels also look great in designs such as stripes and gingham, and they’re perfect for pattern mixing. To keep yourself cool, shop for fabrics such as cotton, eyelet, and linen. These types of fabric allow air to flow in the clothes for a fresher feeling on hot days. Pastel colors look great on their own or styled with darker colors to create a contrasting effect. You can use them as a pop of color to a neutral outfit or combine multiple shades to fulfill your spring fairy garden fantasy.

However you choose to style pastels, they are always in fashion for spring. The colors are beautiful and evoke feelings of openness and relaxation. Let your wardrobe inspire you as we enter a new chapter of the year filled with new beginnings and sunshine.
