A night-in this Valentine’s season is not only the most Covid-safe way to celebrate, but it may just be the most fun! To help you plan for this year's festivities, we’ve listed five key steps to make your Galentine’s get-together the best it can be.

1. Grab your friends! The holiday of love is not just about romantic love but about friendship as well. Your friends are some of the most important people in your life, so taking time to make memories together and celebrating your friendship is totally called for on a day like Valentine’s.

2. Get the snacks! Snacks are crucial to any sleepover. Whether it's popcorn, fruit, candy, or chocolate, be sure to set up with lots of food for the night. To be especially on-theme, we recommend candy hearts and chocolate-covered strawberries.

3. Play games! Customize this to fit your friend group best. For the old-fashioned, go with classic board games like Scrabble or checkers, or try your hand at card games. For those who are more tech-savvy, try out Animal Crossing or other online games.

4. Have a movie marathon! Of course some sappy classics like “The Notebook,” “10 Things I Hate About You”, and “Pretty in Pink” are all on brand for the holiday. New, modern romances like, “Malcolm & Marie” or “To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before” are great choices, too. You can also go a different route and watch some comedies like, “Rough Night,” “Girls Trip”, or “Bridesmaids.”

5. Finally: take lots of photos! The memories you make with your friends are so important; why not capture them on camera? Have a little photoshoot together to really soak up the Valentine’s vibes. They don’t have to be glamour shots, just something to help you remember the night.

Now it’s your turn to go out and make the most of this Valentine season. Celebrate the love in your life, spend time with your girls and eat enough chocolate to last a week. We’ll be doing the same!
