For Valentine’s Day, we wanted to provide some glamorous and heart-stopping makeup looks that will be sure to turn heads. Though many of us will be trading in dinner dates at fancy restaurants for pizza on the couch, it's still fun to get glammed up and celebrate our beauty while watching “The Notebook” with our roommates. Here are some fun and totally doable Valentine’s Day makeup tutorials that, unlike your ex, won’t disappoint.

For this look, start off by patting a bright matte red shade into the crease and blend it up to the brow using a lighter red or pink tone. On the lid, apply on a red shimmery shadow and then blend a highlight of your choice into the inner corner. Makeup gems can be found easily on Amazon or at Walmart and secured using any eyelash glue. Using tweezers, carefully place 5 red gems just above the crease of the eye following its natural shape. Finish with simple matte black liner and some mascara, and your eyes will sparkle all night.

Our second look is inspired by all the singles this Valentine’s day. These shimmery, pink, heart-shaped tears will cry so you don’t have to! Start with an eyelid primer, pack on a pink shadow, add glitter on the top, then finish with winged liner and false lashes. Finally, draw on your heart tears under the eye in whatever way you desire!

Valentine’s day is about all forms of love, not just the romantic kind. During this uneasy time of physical distance and time spent at home, this holiday is an excuse to celebrate creativity, beauty, closeness, and love with those around you!
