Remember those leather pants you haven’t worn since replicating the iconic Sandy from Grease costume? Those leather pants you have stored in the back of your closet are back in, so think twice about throwing them in the donation pile. If you go outside and stroll the town, you’ll spot numerous leather jackets, handbags, pants, tops, jumpsuits, and even phone cases. Incorporating leather fabrics into some of your everyday outfits can transform them into a new fashionable, sleek look.

The infamous, “going-out look” has been circulating all over TikTok and is used to describe the fashion trends you tend to see during a night out celebrating. Recently, leather has been a trend on the rise, especially in these going-out outfits. Using leather gives off a seductive and edgy feel to any outfit. One of the best parts about leather is you can personalize it based on which style you’re trying to create.

Leather can be used to spice up an everyday lounge outfit for a downtown walk or– pair both a leather top and pants together to embrace an edgy look. Spice up a regular bodysuit and skirt for a night out on the town with a leather jacket, or, you could pair just a simple jacket with jeans for a more casual date night look. Matching leather blazers, leather strappy tops, and yes, even leather mini skirts, are ways younger generations are using leather to create the perfect going-out look.

Leather pants bring a shine to any outfit and give off a luxurious, classy, ‘cool girl’ feel to any top or blouse. If you want a more professional silhouette, find a leather blazer. It is easy to find leather at any local second-hand shop where you may discover different leather colors like red or brown to make your looks more intriguing and personalized.

Red leather is making a comeback for the holidays. Red boots, red leather coats, and even red ribbon bows as accessories that create the perfect pop of color for your classy, yet seductive, holiday outfit. Leather is easy to find in different colors to match different seasons. Red is perfect for the holidays.

Brown leather was also a fall trend this past season, and you might’ve noticed more people wearing a brown leather trench coat during the colder months. These lighter leather tones give any outfit a more vintage feel when combined with a basic t-shirt and jeans. Pair it with low-top sneakers, and you will look like you teleported straight from the 80s.
One of the best things about leather is its timeless nature. The fabric comes in different styles and colors and it always seems to stay in style. For older generations, an edgy leather bomber jacket will create that edgy, cool look. You can even incorporate it with accessories like a purse or a matching watch band. With leather, you can mix and match your pieces to create any type of look you want. The combinations for leather going-out styles are endless, making it a staple in your wardrobe.
