When people talked about Emma Chamberlain, she was known as a Youtuber. In 2020, Emma Chamberlain announced the creation of her coffee company, Chamberlain Coffee, which gave her another title–business women. This did not come as a surprise to fans since they knew that Emma had a love for coffee which was prominent in the vlogs for her Youtube channel. With Emma’s large presence on Youtube and popularity growing across social media, Chamberlain Coffee was a hit. Recently, Emma started posting less on her channel and changed her editing style. Fans noticed that she was taking a step back from her Youtube, putting her energy into Chamberlain Coffee and her podcast, Anything Goes. Even though Emma is not as much of a Youtube sensation as she was a few years ago, Chamberlain Coffee continues to grow; certain products are even in select stores such as Walmart, Target, and Sprouts. But why is that? Chamberlain Coffee grows due to Emma’s status as a celebrity, her marketing, and the products she creates.
Emma is more than just a Youtuber now. She is collaborating with large companies such as Louis Vuitton and Cartier. She has been invited to the Met Gala twice. Her growing celebrity status has definitely helped the company gain more exposure. But I think most of the company;s success is due to marketing and products—she targets her audience through her marketing. The products are in cute, colorful packaging that is pleasing to look at. The colors on the packaging complement each other well. Each of her products has a cute animal or insect associated with it. For example, the matcha logo has a crocodile on it and the original cold brew logo has an elephant on it! Her photoshoots posted on the company’s Instagram are original and show off the products in an artistic way. Instead of just posting a picture of the mug, she poses with it with various props that help to support Emma’s relatable yet distinctly artsy brand.
Her products are useful and relevant to all coffee lovers. She has a range of different flavors of coffee, matcha, chai, and teas. This allows people to try new kinds of drinks. Plus, she has a range of coffee tools such as a french and a cold brew press that people can purchase. She also has a variety of adorable mugs, tumblers, and glassware that matches with the colors of the coffee bags. Then, there are accessories for the coffee and the glassware, such as frothers and reusable straws. The company even produces super cute sweat sets that match the coffee bags. Emma knows who her audience is and she caters to them very well. These are all products that set people up for success who want to get into coffee! She also posts recipes for people to try new kinds of coffee which will help people who are not sure where to start.
I am excited to see what else Emma creates with her company. I have personally tried several of her products and I love them all. My favorite drinks are the vanilla blend and the family blend which are both coffee. The vanilla matcha is also delicious! The clear and insulated travel cups are my favorite cups I know. The mason jars and the mugs are also fun to add to your cup collection. The tote bags are spacious and super cute! It’s evident much effort and time has been put into creating a coffee company that everyone can enjoy. I hope that she continues to grow and create more products for coffee lovers all over the globe.
