Take your Halloween costume to the next level this year by trying out some of our favorite spooky makeup looks.
Scarecrow: Whether in a group or as an individual, scarecrow makeup will be the icing on the cake for an otherwise classic and simple costume. With face paint, draw a black line across the mouth and cheeks and add small “X”s on the line to look like stitches. Draw a circle on the tip of the nose and fill with orange paint. To make this look pop, go for a gold eyeshadow paired with a maroon lip. You’ll be a scarecrow, but birds are destined to flock to you!
Comic Book Character: Though simple, this makeup look will have you looking like you walked right off the page of a comic! Using black face paint, draw lines on the face to exaggerate the features. Place the lines on the cheekbones, nose, chin, and forehead to add dimension. Highlight with white paint to make this look pop off the page!
Neon Skeleton: For this look, outline the entire face in the neon color of your choice. We used two tones of pink for our neon skeleton makeup. Outline the eyes in large circles, and don’t forget to draw lines on the lips. Add lashes and a bold lip to elevate this look. The neon skeleton is the perfect balance between spooky and sassy!
