How to Style Trendy Hair Accessories

Think of hair accessories as an extension of your style. They can help bring a look together or spruce up a more simple outfit. Claw clips have grown in popularity over the past few years. I have always found using a clip is a cute way to style your hair, but now they have evolved into new shapes and designs becoming trendier than ever. There are countless ways to put your hair in the claw clip to make a new style. My main source to find tutorials showing how to put my hair in a clip is social media, such as TikTok and Pinterest. Claw clips are not the only hair accessory that have come to be very popular over the past few years. 

Head scarves are a classic accessory that have come into style this past summer. Head scarves give you a lot of freedom with how you want to style your hair. Additionally, there are many different options of how to tie the head scarf. As we move into the colder months, head scarves will evolve into more of a winter style shown in the second picture. There will be more of a purpose of wearing them to help you stay warm and stylish. It also makes a perfect style for days when your hair is greasy or harder to style.

Barrettes and headbands are also staple hair accessories. Barrettes have made a full circle, first becoming popular in the 60s, then returning in the 90s, and now, they are back again. A lot of high-end designers have used barrettes on the runway such as Fendi and Versace. Barrettes are easy to style as well. My personal favorites are small barrettes framing your face or a big barrette in the back of your hair holding a half up half down look. There are many different barrette styles, colors, and sizes to go with every aesthetic. 

Fashion trends are constantly changing, and keeping up with hairstyle trends is just as important as clothes. There are many easy ways to effortlessly style your hair in the morning to complete your look for the day. These hair accessories are also very versatile and can work with all types of hair.
