It all started with millennial pink. It was almost as if life was truly being seen through rose-tinted lenses. The color was everywhere. However, nothing lasts forever. As Generation Z started to influence trends, eventually pink was no longer the “it” color. The pink world as people knew it soon began to turn another color. Some people might describe this color as vibrant, bold, and eye-catching. Others might say it is overwhelming and unpleasant. Regardless of one’s opinion, the color yellow has become the new pink. Yellow somehow has claimed its spot as the color of Generation Z.

The bright color was not hard to miss once it started taking over the world. Yellow is a social butterfly. It will show up and show out to every social setting. It is the life of the party and is the color of  bright laughs among good company.

With good company, you need good drinks. A good drink starts with lemons because when life gives you lemons, you make lemonade which is...you knew  it, yellow.

Yellow! I mean a “hello” is a phone call away and the conversation starter to spilling the latest gossip. And nothing compliments gossip better than a yellow phone. But, as social as it can be, yellow is also very relaxing. On the days reserved for “me time,” yellow offers comfortability and self-care.

Want to make a statement at the airport? Look no further, yellow is perfect for vacay and when it is time to catch flights, not feelings. Yellow is packed, booked and busy, and ready for take-off.  It also makes it impossible to lose or confuse your bag with someone else's baggage claim.

Believe it or not, yellow looks amazing in any weather. No matter if it is on the brightest and sunniest or on the gloomiest and rainiest of days, yellow finds a way to shine through. It is the perfect color for dancing in the rain or running from it.

Yellow is all around, and it is whatever it wants to be. Yellow adds elements of individuality and distinctiveness to any item it touches. It is creative, daring, and a confidence booster. It is loud and captures the attention of others without even trying. It can be bitter but also sweet. There is no limit to yellow, and that is why it is the perfect color for Generation Z. Unfortunately, another color will replace yellow because as we learned, all good things come to an end eventually. Now, we wait for the next color to take over the world. What color could it be?
