As one of the boldest decades in fashion history, the 1980’s were notorious for showcasing daring patterns, flashy colors, and adventurous hairstyles. Through a mix of textures and atypical color pairings, 80’s fashion allows for expression of character and excitement, not to mention the activities associated with the decade. From movies and music to dancing and roller skating, the era was revolutionary for bringing together young people through fun pastimes.

Based on the retro feel and nostalgia of this era, 1984 Arcade is the perfect stop on a night out with friends, a date night, or even a photoshoot! Showcasing a collection of vintage pinball and video games, the downtown Springfield location is a perfect place to take a step back in time. Recreating the 80’s is not only a way to freely express your style, but the inspired activities are a great way for bonding with others, meeting new people, and exploring new interests.

For this photoshoot, we took inspiration from the bold styles of the 80’s with the loud patterns and bright colors. However, we added our own modern spin on the classic 80’s look that completely matched the vibe of 1984 Arcade. The neon lights and quirky decorations create an inviting and fun atmosphere. The whole experience was a nostalgic blast from the past, and we can’t wait to go back!
