Florals? For Spring? Groundbreaking…

There is no denying that a bright and bold floral look doesn’t make for a good spring look. The flowers are blossoming and the weather is warming up. But spring also comes with a side of rain, tornado warnings, and temperature rises and drops. If the weather is not going to be predictable neither should your outfits. 

 What better way better to tone down the florals than with cool shades of blue? If you’re not a big fan of blue, you can stay within the family by trying other cool tones such as purple. 

If you’re looking for something simple and casual, a loose button-up and short matching set is the way to go. Small details such as a slit down the back not only help to show some skin but provide some dramatic effects when things get windy. 

For a more adventurous look, try playing around with knitted wear. There are so many ways to style it. Since it makes a bold statement on its own, you don’t have to do too much. Let the knit speak for itself. But it works just as great as an accent and pairs well under suit jackets.  

There is no way to talk about blue without mentioning denim. Plus, you can never have too much denim in your wardrobe, especially when it’s a backless denim jumpsuit. Country is still trending, so don’t hesitate to throw on your boots and a bandana.
