The staple that used to be just associated with Adam Sandler and something that everyone's dad has in his closet, has now become a fashion trend that everyone can hop on. Jorts have become a spring/summer outfit staple that goes with everything in your closet. I personally love when the weather gets warmer and I can break out my jorts. I am obsessed with figuring out new ways to style jorts and I love seeing new ways other people can style theirs.

There is definitely a hesitancy to even wear jorts. A lot of people still associate jorts with middle-aged dads and think that there is no way that they could style them. But once you find a way to wear them in a way that fits your proportions, it makes them less intimidating. In the past few years, there has been a push for shorts to be longer and looser. We are leaving the era of the tight, short denim shorts. People now are prioritizing comfort in their shorts and jorts to check off that box.

I love pairing jorts with a baby tee or a tank top! For me, pairing a smaller top with jorts that fit bigger can balance out the proportions better. For some other outfit ideas, wearing a t-shirt or a short sleeved button up with converse or a pair of doc martins is such an easy look for whatever you have in store for your day. It is cute while still being an outfit that you can wear different variations of. For those who love a baggy outfit, an oversize tee or a crew neck with jorts can give that comfortable feel that is always a go to! Layering a long sleeve with jorts is perfect for the end of Spring. When it comes to completing the outfit, adding a chunky sneaker or platform sandal can elevate it.

Jorts are officially here to stay and have officially become a new spring/summer staple. There are a ton of different ways to style jorts that can match anyone's style. There is no need to be scared to jump on the jorts trend. Style them just like any other shorts and you will see that they are so easy to rock!
