The Future of Fashion

Have you ever wondered what everyone is going to be wearing in the next couple of years? If you have, you’re not alone. With the help of WGSN, I did some research to see what fashion might look like in the future. I compiled a list of clothing and accessories that we can expect to see in the near future.

We’ve all seen someone walking down the street wearing something designer. Whether that be Louis Vuitton, the iconic Gucci belt or Chanel, a designer item is something many people strive to own. Lauren is a senior at Missouri State double majoring in Fashion Design/Merchandising. She is from Springfield, Missouri and has been involved in AFAD since her junior year. That was the inspiration behind Garrett Hines’ fashion collection, Between Black and White. Hines, a senior in the Fashion Design and Merchandising program, has spent months creating a collection designed to “make you happy.” Full of vibrant colors and exciting patterns, Between Black and White does exactly that. These comfortable and colorful looks fit in perfectly with today’s streetwear style.
